English is one of the strange languages learned by Indonesian students. In the process of learning language, the errors might be made by learners. The complexity of English and its departure from Bahasa Indonesia tin lead to students’ errors. This study explored (a) the types of errors found in annunciation text written by the 10th-grade students, (b) the type of error which is more frequently committed by the tenth-grade students, and (c) the sources of errors found in announcement texts written by the 10th-course students. To identify the errors, Surface Strategy Taxonomy was used in this enquiry. Furthermore, interlingual and intralingual errors were identified as the source of errors found. To deport the written report, the researcher applied qualitative research, which case study was the specific type of this report. The information in this study were the announcement texts written by the 10th-grade students. In that location were 5 steps in conducting this study, namely; collecting samples of linguistic communication learners, identification of errors, description of errors, explanation of errors, and error evaluation. The result of this study showed in that location were 31.82% omission fault, 11.36% add-on mistake, 27.27% misformation error, and 29.55% misordering error based on Surface Strategy Taxonomy. Thus, omission error was the highest. Furthermore, at that place were 34.09% interlingual equally the source of errors establish, and 65.91% intralingual as the source of errors constitute. Thus, this study suggests that the English environment is created every bit possible to minimize the errors of the leaners. Additionally, learners must also be aware of their learning.

The nowadays written report analyzes the types and sources of errors in descriptive text made by the third semester students of English Education Section. The study was conducted through descriptive qualitative method. Students’ writing documents were analyzed. The data analysis technique involved several steps such as identifying, classifying, describing, and counting. The theory proposed by Dulay et al (1982) was used to analyze types of errors and the theory of Brown (2007) was employed to analyze the sources of errors. There were iv types of errors and 2 sources of errors in the students’ writing descriptive text. Those were omission, addition, misformation, and misordering errors. In omission, there were 41 errors (23.29%), addition there were 11 errors (half-dozen.25%), misformation , in that location were  85 errors (48.29%) and in misordering, at that place were 39 (22.15%). Whereas the sources of errors in this research were interlingual and intralingual errors. The total error of interlingual was 62 errors (35.22%) and intralingual was 114 errors (64.77%). So it can be concluded that the near dominant types of errors found in students writing was misformation error. While Intralingual mistake was the most frequent of sources of errors based on the finding in this research.

This commodity investigated about semiotic establish in Instagram logo. This commodity used Instagram, because many people present used Instagram to limited themselves.  The aim of this written report is to notice out the connotative and denotative significant through Instagram. The writers used John theory to reveal this written report. In this inquiry, the writers applies the qualitative descriptive method. The method of collecting data is observation. The steps are choosing the logo that would be analyzed. The results indicate in that location are twelve data that take meaning from different logos on Instagram. They all have different functions based on the logo. The decision is Instagram every bit a social media application that allows users to share photos and videos, add captions, edit filters, engage with others, and explore the world by using this application.

The present study aims to notice out and describe the educational values reflected in the main graphic symbol suffering from intellectual disability in Forrest Gump movie and to find out how the intellectual disability influenced the behaviour of the main grapheme in Forrest gump movie. The writer used descriptive qualitative method. The data were in the form of words and sentences. This study was as a qualitative research in which the data were collected from main and secondary sources. The primary source was the movie itself and its script. The secondary sources were manufactures, and several references on literature. Afterward the data had been collected the writer used suitable scenes and conversations to analyze the types of educational values in the story. The results reveal that 1) The educational values reflected through the main character were bravery, peace, conviction and potential, loyalty and trustworthiness, respect, love and affection, unselfishness, kindness and friendliness, fairness and humanistic attitude  2) The intellectual disability afflicted the beliefs of the main character including â€Å"difficult to empathize some things”, â€Å"less able to make decision”, and â€Å"make him unaware with some situations”.

Nowadays, many lecturers use various tools to back up the online learning process, such every bit Moodle, Schoology, Edmodo, and Google Classroom. This study focuses on exploring the undergraduate students’ perceptions of Google Classroom’s implementation in online English Learning. With the case study blueprint, seven undergraduate students from English Instruction Department in Wiralodra University participated in this report. The questionnaire and interview were used to collect the data, and both of them were analyzed qualitatively. The study results revealed that in terms of implementation, the Google Classroom application is an application that is easy to utilize, less constructive in material explanation, and effective in the technic of administration and material management. So, this report showed some positive impacts of the Google Classroom application. First, Google Classroom can tape an attempt of learning, material and assignment. The 2d, it provides quick access to collect an consignment, and The last, it minimizes the price of learning. However, this report as well revealed some negative impacts, such as trouble with an internet connection speed and screen display of google classroom. And then, from the issue of the study, it tin can be concluded that Google Classroom can exist one of the awarding choices in teaching undergraduate students.

This research aims to explore the multimodal analysis of the DisneyPlus Hotstar Indonesia TV Advertisement. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. This inquiry information are text, symbols, images, sounds, and gestures used in DisneyPlus Hotstar Indonesia TV advertisements. The data were obtained from the DisneyPlus Hotstar Indonesia Goggle box advertisement. Likewise, the famous tagline from this advertisement is â€Å"Pilih Semaumu, Untuk Semua” (Choose all you desire, for all). The results show that DisneyPlus Hotstar Indonesia Goggle box advertisement has a multimodal semiotic system consisting of linguistic, visual, audio, gestural, and spatial elements. Each multimodal semiotic system is closely related to amalgam advertising meaning. The message is understandable for the audience. Moreover, this research is expected to contribute to developing the discourse analysis discipline, especially multimodal assay.

This inquiry attempts to reveal the social stratification depicted in the short story entitled ‘The Doll’s House’ past Katherine Mansfield. Qualitative enquiry design with Disquisitional Discourse Analysis (CDA) approach is applied to achieve the enquiry goal. This inquiry focuses on the points of Social Structure, Field, Doxa, Capitals, and Struggle of Pierre Bourdieu. The theme and characters’ interaction will exist dissected using the five elements mentioned. In regard to social structure, the finding shows that The Burnell’due south family is undoubtedly rich while The Kelvey’south family unit is poor. The Burnells mingle with other rich people but. They treat lower-class people arbitrarily, that even their new doll’due south business firm is not open up for marginalized group. The social fields of this story are Burnell’south house where the interaction between upper-grade people takes place, and the school where children with various status levels acquaintance. Meanwhile, the doxas found are the oldest child has more privileges in family, people tend to befriend with those coming from the same social class, and lower-class people are more than likely to speak using non-standard English. The Burnell’south daughters and their allies palpably possess economic, cultural, and social capitals. The Kelveys, on the other mitt, lack it all. Lastly, the struggles are experienced by Isabel, Kezia, and trivial Kelveys in apparently unlike extent.

This study investigated students' perceptions, students' attitudes, and students' main reasons for supporting first language utilize in the EFL classroom. A qualitative approach with a holistic-unmarried case written report design was applied, and the instruments were a Questionnaire and interview session. The participants were 22 students of form Eleven from the Social Program at the MAN 1 Indramayu. The participants answered questions administered through 29 questionnaire statements and viii interview questions. The result showed that (ane) the students rarely speak English language during English learning in the EFL classroom, (two) The students strongly hold if the instructor uses Get-go Language (L1) when explaining something complicated, similar grammar or unfamiliar vocabulary. (3) The students' primary reason that the students did non understand and nevertheless have doubts about some vocabulary. The interview effect indicated that kickoff Language (L1) is still needed in the EFL classroom.

There are a lot of factors determining the success of learning process. Leaning media is one of them that can contribute to the excellent learning process. In this digital era, infographic either digital or printed is regarded as a suitable media for speaking as it is able to help students to present effectively. The combination of brief information in points and graphics helps the students in delivering particular topics to the audience that as well develops the students’ speaking skill. The infographic in this inquiry was conducted in projects for mechanical engineering students. The topic called for the research was ‘describing the excellence of a city’. It is ane of the topics written in the curriculum for English language ane subject area. The research applied a case study in which the data collection was gathered using observation, interview, and questionnaires. The results indicated that the infographic project could facilitate the speaking activities. The students showed positive responses in creating infographic, working in group project-based learning (PBL), and presenting the infographic content.  These conditions signal that the infographic projection was successfully employed to facilitate the students’ speaking action.

Gender bias is a problematic issue until today. World has been accepted and convinced that gender is socially constructed, but society grows with a confusion of gender bias that leads to an endless feminist movement. A case on gender discrimination occurs in Islamic republic of pakistan, where inequality needs attention every bit information technology has been intersected with cultural and political practices. This seems to restrict any effort regarded to equality. This research aims to identify manifestations of gender discrimination experienced by the master character in Amal Unbound and to analyze aspects of cultural and political matters related to the restriction of Islamic republic of pakistan women. This research applied a descriptive qualitative method in the analysis. The data were analyzed by using Butler's concepts on gender. The findings bespeak that the primary character experienced various manifestations of gender bigotry, such as marginalization, subordination, stereotype, and violence. She has been in a worse status as being restricted by practices of constructed civilization and politics in Pakistan.
